Project Highlights

Project Description

The Copper Canyon FM 1863 Traffic Signal project upgraded a Diamond Intersection with new signals as well as pavement markings.

Scope of work

  • Traffic Signals
  • Pavement Markings

Project Challenges

  1. Modified Astro Bracket
  2. Wyley was an existing flashing beacon that TxDOT wanted to replace to complete a signalized intersection. The existing signal pole west bound was not long enough to satisfy the
traffic needs, and the state did not want to replace it due to cost restraints. A modified astro bracket assembly was installed to satisfy the requirements for the signals.
