Founded in 2006, the ACE Mentor Program of Greater San Antonio, Inc. consists of building industry professionals and educators who help high school students learn more about potential careers in architecture, engineering and construction.
During the program, students work in teams under the mentorship of experienced professionals, who guide them through projects that meet real industry requirements. The result is an opportunity to gain practical insight into what building industry professionals do to transform their ideas from an initial concept into a finished building.
E-Z Bel has partnered with the ACE Mentor holding an annual event ACE Construction Day Event where around 100 students have a chance to learn and operate heavy equipment as they explore job opportunities in the construction field.
It has been well known that a passion of E-Z Bel is the love for fishing and for protecting the environment, this is one of the reasons why for the past 11 years E-Z Bel has participated in the Mr. & Mrs. Big Trout tournament; an event with the purpose of creating a Scholarship Fund for an internship studying Marine Biology at Corpus Christi A&M University.
This event also provides a venue to cultivate our relationships with other construction industry participants like MMM, Vulcan, L&M STL, Mesa, CMC, RL Jones, Charlotte Concrete to name a few.
